Entrepreneur, the popular North-American business news magazine, cites QBurst mobile app at the core of PrivateFly’s successful mobile strategy.
PrivateFly’s app has been downloaded 100,000 times and accounts for 10% of the company’s revenue. The app identifies users’ current location and displays airports within 50-km radius, along with flight dates and competitive prices.
A study by comScore is concurrent with PrivateFly’s success in mobile strategy. According to the study, four out of five potential customers shop on smartphones and the net mobile Internet usage surpassed desktop Internet usage as of June 2014.
